One more Barflys, for the road. Sure it’s only been three months since it ended. Sure that was just enough time so I didn’t have an opportunity to put of the St. Patrick’s Day themed Barflys comics I have written in a notepad. Sure that’s a big tease if you’re a fan of Barflys, but hey! at least I didn’t leave it alone entirely!

Happy Fat Tuesday everyone, especially everyone giving up something for Lent like I am, good luck! Amongst other sacrifices, I have to draw every day, so hopefully that’ll lead to a surge in updates. The last Barflys is a remake to this Andy Capp comic. I’m pretty exhausted today, was up late last night drinking and playing games. It was supposed to snow like crazy overnight and then I was supposed to call out of work and sleep till noon, but the sky was blue and there wasn’t a flake on the ground. Looks like it’s starting to snow now though… thanks meteorologists… just in time.

Modern Day Witchdoctor will be updating again starting this weekend. There will be a profile picture going up Thursday for one of the Barflys. I need to do some web work on my portfolio page, hopefully I’ll get that underway soon, and Claptrap Films was rejected by Zuda, so once I have a little bit more of the script worked out I’ll start updating that as well.

Ahh, I bet you thought it’d be a Valentines theme comic today. Jokes on you! It’s an “I went to college” theme comic instead. Take THAT under-educated and lovers.

Now back to the dick and poop jokes

I’m going to forgo much of a blog today because I’m not feeling well.

So, my unannounced hiatus is over. I’ve been suffering from a bout of writers block for the last couple weeks. Plus, my free time has been curtailed by social activities, and then the remaining time go sucked up by Dragon Age: Origins (the siren song of which I am currently doing my darndest to resist to bring you todays update.) The next couple Thursdays will have some extra updates to make up for the time off. There will be links to the new stuff from the main page.

In two weeks Modern Day Witchdoctor will resume updates, it’s been a year since the last chapter ended and I’m sure anyone who follows it will be eager for the penultimate chapter. I have alot of things in the works right now, although it’s unclear exactly when it’ll be hitting the web.

I’m pretty confident that when Barflys ends Modern Day Witchdoctor will start back up. I’m prioritizing projects right now, and I think that’s the best way to do it. It’ll be just a little under a year since the last chapter of MDW ended so, if you haven’t had the opportunity to read it yet, now would be a great time to get caught up before the next chapter gets underway.

One of the things I’m doing for let this year is I’ll have to draw something every day.  I’m not promising anything, but if that leads to three updates a week, then so be it

Busy busy!

Working of getting work done Of course sometimes I need to watch MST3K for… research. With Barflys wrapping up it gives me a chance to proactively work on some of the things that have been sitting on my to-do list mocking me, and some onesy-twosey type things that I’ve been interested in. I might have some new news as early as next week. Stay tuned!

Managed to get my car towed last night. Looks like I won’t be going much of anywhere this weekend… so… getting some work done maybe?
